Privacy Policy
1. Plain-language summary
EliteHealthAI is a private health-information companion brought to you by Elite AI Empire. Sign-in is optional. Your journal entries are stored locally on your device by default. Chat queries to the AI are sent to our backend for processing and a third-party large-language-model provider; we keep chat logs for 30 days for safety and abuse-prevention purposes, then delete them. We do not sell any data. We do not run third-party advertising networks.
2. What we collect
- Optional sign-in: if you sign in via magic link, Apple Sign-in, or Google Sign-in, we associate an opaque user ID with your email so we can sync settings across devices. You can use the app without signing in.
- Chat messages: when you ask EliteHealthAI a question, the text of your message and our reply are processed by our backend and a third-party LLM provider (currently OpenAI / Anthropic). Logs are retained 30 days for safety, then deleted.
- Journal entries: your private journal entries are stored on your device only by default. If you turn on optional sync, encrypted entries are stored on our backend so you can access them across devices.
- Push notification token (opt-in): if you accept push notifications, the operating system gives us a device-specific token. We use it only to deliver notifications you have asked for.
- Anonymous diagnostics: Apple App Store and Google Play provide aggregated crash/performance reports. These do not contain personally identifying information.
- Server logs: when you visit this website or our API, our hosting provider logs your IP address and request timestamp for security and abuse-prevention. Logs are retained for 30 days then deleted.
3. What we do NOT collect
- We do not collect your real name unless you volunteer it in a chat message or journal entry.
- We do not collect contacts, calendars, photos, microphone audio, or precise location.
- We do not collect insurance, billing, or government-identifier information.
- We do not embed third-party SDKs that collect data for advertising.
4. NOT HIPAA-covered
EliteHealthAI is not a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA. We are not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse. Please do not enter information you would be required by law to keep confidential under HIPAA. If you need a HIPAA-covered tool to talk to a healthcare provider, please use a service offered directly by your provider.
5. AI / LLM processing
When you send a chat message, it is forwarded to a large-language-model provider (OpenAI and/or Anthropic) for processing. Our system prompt instructs the model to never diagnose, never triage emergencies, and always recommend that the user consult a licensed medical provider. The LLM provider's data-handling policy applies; both OpenAI and Anthropic retain inputs for limited periods for abuse-prevention purposes and do not train models on API traffic by default.
6. Children
EliteHealthAI is rated 12+ in the App Store / Teen on Google Play and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently received information from a child, please email [email protected] and we will delete it.
7. Data security
Our website and API are served over TLS (HTTPS) with a Let's Encrypt certificate. Backend storage is access-controlled and encrypted at rest. Chat logs are stored in an isolated database with 30-day retention.
8. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You have the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email [email protected] from the address you used to sign in. We will respond within 30 days. Residents of California (CCPA) and the EU/UK (GDPR) have additional statutory rights including the right to know, the right to delete, and the right to non-discrimination — we honor all of them.
9. Changes
If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Effective" date at the top and notify users via in-app banner the next time the app launches.
